Studio Arts
Our four year studio arts program in the classical tradition features pencil, watercolor, charcoal, and oil painting. Students are directed through exercises that teach technique, aesthetic standards, and appreciation and recognition of artistic beauty by observing the world around them.
Grade 9: Basic Drawing

Grade 12: Advanced Oil Painting





Archdiocesan Art Program
All four HSA students who entered the 2025 Archdiocesan Art Contest in May were selected as finalists. Erin Perrault entered “Mother of Sanctity” (watercolor), Natalie Bury entered “The Desire of Christ” (oil on canvas), Marta Lafond entered “Fulton Sheen” (graphite on paper), and Gemma Meyer entered “Pier Giorgio Frassati”, (Graphite on paper)
Erin Perrault took first place in the 11th and 12th grade category!
